About Hold Fast Lures & Lil Blinkie

In 1992 when living in Falmouth, Massachusetts, I first developed a wooden fishing lure fitted with RED BLINKING EYES. Being a fisherman at that time for 40 years, I was intrigued and quite surprised the first time I cast LIL BLINKIE into the water. Upon retrieval, the EYES of LIL BLINKIE startled me!!!

It was a warm summer night on Coonamessett Pond in Falmouth, and SMALLMOUTH BASS could not stay away from LIL BLINKIE. Five years later, the original waterproof battery was still functioning and I was still CAUGHT BY LIL BLINKIE.

In August 2008 I decided it was time to introduce LILBLINKIE to the world. It was then that I started the HOLD FAST LURE COMPANY.

Attending the Saltwater Fishing Expo in New Jersey, I was again very intrigued with the interest LIL BLINKIE attracted. Customers purchased LIL BLINKIE LURES with the intentions of fishing in the Arctic Ocean waters, the waters of Belize, Mexico, the Gulf of Mexico waters off of Florida, Cape Cod Canal in Massachusetts, and especially the waters of the Hudson River, New York, and New Jersey.
